A Triumphant Entry

A colt’s Story

The Lord instructed His disciples to bring a donkey and a colt to Him (Mat 21:7) for His triumphal entry to Jerusalem before the Passover.   A colt is a young foal of an ass (Zech 9:9, Mat 21:5).  Riding on a colt, the Lord displayed His meekness and lowliness to His creation.  In a Broader sense, the Lord Almighty left His eternal abode descended in to the midst of mankind and displayed His love and meekness.  His deeds and words were according to His great wisdom (1 Cor 1:24) for the glory of the Father.  The Lord could have just entered the city of Jerusalem riding a shining white horse followed by thousands of white horses.  The religious disbelieving Jewish people would have wanted to see such a spectacle while they sought signs from Him (Mt 12:39).  Instead the Lord chose a colt as His ride during His triumphal entry.  He gave no signs to mere amusers and faithless spectators (Mt 16:4).  Man is in a fallen state and his salvation is the Lord.  The Lord and His crucifixion is his only cure (Nu 21:9, John 3:14).  Looking unto the Lord alone will alone remove many veils from his heart blinding him from seeing the glory of God.  The Lord has reserved the shining white horse's part for the future (Re 19:11) and He attended the immediate need of man that is to dispense Himself to man.   Our need today is this pure and holy Heavenly Portion without any element of religion, law or burden which is the Person of God, the Lord Jesus Christ.  Hallelujah.

The donkey signifies the church (entire believers of the Lord).  The colt is a foal of ass signifies the Overcomers produced by the church.  The Lord chose the colt not directly, but by sending his disciples in search of it.  Even in this age, we received Lord's word through some disciples who are sent by the Lord.  This is known as election.  God’s elect throughout ages are chosen according to His foreknowledge (1Pe 1:2).  The Lord sends the word through His disciples to bring the elects to the triumphal entry throughout the centuries and He is still doing it.  So becoming the Overcomers of the Lord does not mean that believers are chosen by the merits of their labor, but they are simply chosen by the Lord.  And this position of being the Lord’s choice will produce the required merits.  These are the people who…. overcame him (Satan) by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death (Rev 12:11).  So to be the Lord’s Overcomer is to become His choice and to become His choice we need more and more grace and cover ourselves with the blood of the Lamb.  Second is to have a strong testimony for the Lord and third is not to love one’s life even unto death.  Hallelujah what an election!

The Lord’s triumphal entry to Jerusalem highlights that how in a short while He was about to put an end to all religious and satanic rule with one strike on the Cross.  It is a celebratory march to mark the beginning of the new age of grace, Hallelujah.  Young colt, the Lord’s Overcomers which He produced through the church are the undefiled ones which the Lord chose to enter into the city.  The Lord was not ashamed of the colt because He knows who He is, a triumphant King.  He is beautiful without any outward make up.  He is the real royalty without outward proclamations.  His Overcomers are not defiled by the idols of the world.  No man has ever sat on it means that for this Lord’s chosen group, there is absolutely no one, no saints, no statues, no rituals, and no religion other than the Lord Jesus Christ.  The young colt and the overcomers of the Lord today are the same.  The Lord loves them and chooses them out of the world.  When they (disciples) said to the people that the Lord has need for this colt, no one opposed.  The Lord’s chosen ones are separated from the world in such a wonderful manner.  There is no one in between the Lord and his loved ones.  They are a mingled spirit born to be glorified.  Hallelujah.

When the Lord entered Jerusalem, the people welcomed Him laying their garments and olive and palm leaves.  The Lord was not actually walking on their garments, but the colt.  If the Lord is in us, people may receive us just like this.  We should understand that we are just His colt and the glory is to the Lord who is in us.  Today many priests and pastors are praise themselves and boast as though they had done something great for such praises.  They are forgetting that they are just the colts and the actual glory and praises are for the Lord if they believe that the Lord is in them.  People are singing to welcome the King who is great and powerful and not the colt.  The Lord’s chosen never boast and they know that the glory and praises belong to the Lord.  Likewise the Overcomers of this age carry the Lord in their hearts and their spirits is regenerated and give Him glory.  When the Lord will come again at the end of this age, the Lord will be on a white horse (Re 19:11).  Hallelujah, the colt is transformed into a shining white horse.  Likewise the Overcomers of the Lord too will put on (1Cor 15:53-54) glory along with the Lord in His second coming through living a life of colt undefiled by the world in this age.  They too will shine (Re 5:10; 20:6).  Hallelujah.

Let us desire to be the colts of the Lord and carry Him in our hearts wherever we are.  Let the Lord’s name be glorified always.  Let nothing other than the Lord enter us and we may be the Lord’s ride when He enters triumphantly the New Jerusalem.  When the colt is ready the Lord can enter Jerusalem triumphantly and we know that the colt is nothing and King is everything.  In the same way, in Rev 12:5-10, there is a mention of a man-child which is the Overcomers. Here after the man-child is raptured, the woman, signifying the church during the tribulation period, is driven to the wilderness.  There she is being protected and nourished by the Lord (Rev12:14).  Soon after this Satan is thrown out of the Heaven permanently (Rev 12:9).  The Last time when he was thrown out, he however had an access to the Almighty along with the sons of God when they reported to God (Job 1:6).  Hence the Overcomers are a bad sign for Satan.  Whoever Satan is threatened of being an Overcomer today or has a potential to become one in the coming days, then don’t be surprised when he frustrates and demoralizes this person.  But Hallelujah like always after the negative things, God brings His blessings and recovery.  After the old serpent that is Satan is thrown out of the heaven, Christ is glorified and the Kingdom is God is come. Hallelujah.  See what a colt can do to Satan.  Let us live a life of purity and holiness resisting the flesh and soul.  We are chosen by the Lord not because we were different or talented but we were simply His choice.  Let us overcome by the blood of the Lamb, have a great testimony and not love our soul life even unto death.  This is grace.  Oh what a grace.  Hallelujah.  Amen.
